Why Does Everyone Hate Isaiah Bond?

Why does everyone hate on Isaiah Bond? I mean, sure, he came from Alabama, but we can’t overlook the speed this guy has. After watching his targets at Alabama, he looks solid. He is explosive off the jump; he’s got some pop to him, and he’s very shifty.  In high school, Bond was an elite athlete, a 4-star out of high school, ranking 43rd in the nation. He also ran track and won the Georgia 6A 100-meter running an insane 10.51. Just a split second slower than Noah Lyles, who ran a 9.79 in the Paris Olympics. He ran a 10.51 as a junior in high school. His 200-meter dash was 21.05. Just a second slower than Noah Lyles. Bond averaged 26.3 yards in high school, with the national average just being 13.4. He also averaged 61.3 yards per game, compared to a national average of 17.5.
In 2021, Bond was offered at just about any school you could think of. He narrowed his search to colleges in Miami, Alabama, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Pittsburgh. In December, Bond decided it was best to take his talents to Alabama with Nick Saban. Alabama fans were absolutely thrilled to have such an explosive and versatile player for the team.   As a freshman at Alabama, he saw some playing time, getting 220 yards and 1 TD. He showed he can hang with the SEC during the season and off-season. The very next year, in 2023, he obtained 43 receptions, 668 yards, and 4 TDs. With one memorable TD against Auburn that was beating Alabama 24-20 with it being 4th down and just 43 seconds remaining, Mr. 007 himself steps up to the line and blows past defenders to the end zone to jump backwards off one foot and make the amazing “gravedigger” catch. The crimson tide does it again to Auburn, thanks to Isaiah Bond.

Prior to Nick Saban announcing his retirement from Alabama. Isaiah Bond had a decision to make: to stay at Alabama or try to become a superstar at another major program. After careful consideration, Bond entered the transfer portal and decided to go to the Texas Longhorns with an amazing QB with Quinn Ewers and a great squad predicted to be a high-ranking program this year. He will certainly fit in. So we are here to tell you, STOP HATING ON THIS MAN! I promise you guys will see just how good Isaiah Bond is this year, and we predict a Heisman watch for Bond. We feel like he will have a breakout year for Texas this year, so get off Isaiah’s head and watch him do his thing this year.
